Garmin problems

As expected, my new map will not load into my GPS because my Garmin GPS refuses to talk with my PC.  After 2 hours of  frustration, I emailed Garmin support, and here is what I can expect:

   Thank you for contacting Garmin Product Support with your inquiry. We aim to respond to all emails within 3 days excluding weekends and holidays. We appreciate your support of Garmin products and hope we can continue to serve you. 

I think this is my last Garmin GPS.

The count down has started!

11 days to go and I'm nowhere close to ready.  I just returned from a weekend trip to qajaq (kayak) training camp http://www.qajaqtc.org/ .  I had a great time-but the heated grips on the bike are not working, so that's one more thing on the to-do list.

I'm off to buy a new, unscratched shield for my helmet, GPS maps for Canada, and other misc camp stuff.
